DENYING ALLEGATIONS
‘Art of Living is being maligned’
TIMES NEWS NETWORK
New Delhi: Reacting to the allegation that an Art of Living camp in Panchmarhi bred Hindu terror, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Saturday denied reports of the organization being involved in the activities of Lt Col Shrikant Purohit who was arrested for his role in the Malegaon blast. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said, ‘‘It’s impossible to say that Art of Living has any links with Lt Col Purohit’s activities.’’
The alleged links find their roots in the fact that Lt Col Purohit had reportedly organized a youth training session in October in Panchmarhi, MP, during which more than 40 youths attended the sessions of one of the trainers from Art of Living.
Addressing the mediapersons, Jigish, who was invited to conduct the course in Panchmarhi, said, ‘‘I was told by the organizers the three-day camp is supposed to invoke patriotism in the youths, and that I would impart them the lessons of Sudarshan Kriya.’’ Making it clear that Art of Living had nothing more to do than teaching the basics of Sudarshan Kriya, Jigish added, ‘‘My interaction with the youths was limited to the lessons and I was escorted out of the campus after the course every day.’’
Stressing that linking Art of Living with terrorist activities was absurd and baseless, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said, ‘‘We have more than 6,000 training centres around the globe. All of them work towards creating a stress and violence free world. If anyone, who has been a part of our sessions, gets involved in a wrongful act, it doesn’t mean we endorse or support his idea.’’ He further added, ‘‘If required, we will certainly cooperate with the agencies in their investigations.’’
With politics in the air, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar also hinted that relating Art of Living with unlawful activities could be a part of the political agenda of some parties. He said, ‘‘I feel this entire episode to malign Art of Living could be a political move. However, we are not going to allow any organization to derive any mileage out of this.’’

One night I had a dream

One Night I had A Dream
In my dream I was walking along the beach with Lord. Across the sky flash scene from my life , in each scene I noticed two sets of foot-prints in sand , one belonging to me and other the Lord.
When the Last scene of my life flash before me , I looked back at foot-prints , I noticed that many times along the path of my life there was only one set of foot-prints. I also noticed that it happened at that very lowest and saddest times of my life , I questioned Lord about it.
“ Lord you said that once you decided to follow me , you’d walk with me all the way. But , I noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of foot-prints . I don’t understand why , when I needed you most , you would leave me “?
Replied the Lord !
“ My son , my precious child I love you and would never leave you during yours time of suffering and trial and you see only one set of foot-prints . I was carrying you”.

If I had to promise you something, what would it be?
I can't promise that you would always be comfortable...
Because comfort brings boredom and discomfort.

I can't promise that all your desires will be fulfilled...
Because desires whether fulfilled or unfulfilled bring frustration.

I can't promise that there will always be good times...
Because it is the tough times that make us appreciate joy.

I can't promise that we will be rich or famous or powerful...
Because they can all be pathways to misery.

I can't promise that we will always be together...
Because it is separation that makes togetherness so wonderful.

Yet if you are willing to walk with me,
If you are willing to value love over everything else ~

I promise that this will be the most rich and fulfilling life possible.
I promise your life will be an eternal celebration,
I promise you I will cherish you more than a king cherishes his crown,

And I shall love you more than a mother loves her newborn.
If you are willing to walk into my arms,If you are willing to live in my heart,
You will find the one you have waited forever....You will meet yourself in my arms...
I promise.

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a bag of potato chips and a six-pack of orange juice and started his journey.
When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a Sip of orange juice when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her some chips. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him.
Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her the orange juice. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.
As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.
When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, " I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"
Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?" She replied! "I ate potato chips in the park with God." However, before her son responded, she added, " You know, he's much younger than I expected.".
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of Which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime! Embrace all equally!

A Story

Once a boy went to a shop with his mother. The shop keeper looked at the small cute child and showed him a bottle with sweets and said 'Dear Child you can take the sweets but the child didn't take. The shop keeper was surprised such a small child he is and why is he nottaking the sweets from the bottle. Again he said take the sweets nowhis mother also heard that and said ''beta take the sweets, yet hedidnt take. The shopkeeper saw that the child was not taking the sweets, So he himself took the sweets and gave to the child. The child was happy to get two hands full of sweets.. When they returned home, his Mother asked him. Why didnt you take the sweets when shop keeper told you to take ?
The child said ''Mom, my hands are very small and if i take the sweets from my hands then I can only take few but now you see when uncle gave with his big hands, how many more sweets I got."
Moral When we take, we may get little but when God gives, He gives us more than our expectations more than what we can hold.
and HE is, HE is, HE is... mela pyala guluji
