Bura Jo Dekhan Main Chala, Bura Naa Milya Koye
Jo Munn Khoja Apnaa, To Mujhse Bura Naa Koye
TranslationI searched for the crooked, met not a single oneWhen searched myself, "I" found the crooked one
This doha deals with our perception behavior and tendencies. It has been invariably noticed that we tend to find fault with someone else for our situations and circumstances. Our "I", the ego, always tries to put blame on others. Non-awareness of our own self is the cause of this attitude. Resultantly, we find ourselves being busy in criticizing and condemning others and conveniently term them as crooked or evil.
So Kabir says that instead of finding fault and maligning others, dive deep into your own-self. Amazingly, an honest introspection will reveal that all fault lies with "me" and "my" own perceptions and attitudes. If there is any evil or crookedness, it is in "me". Correcting this and opting for a loving and compassionate attitude will change one's perceptions and the world will appear wonderful all over again.

Here is something that comes straight from a typical bollywoodblockbuster. A reel life scene experienced in real life!
One day before the chennai Utsav started something so miraculoushappened that reminded me of what Bawa once said," When you spreadknowledge, nature will bend to serve (save) you".
One of the active volunteers (Anil…. He is 6ft 6 inches and weighs 90kgs) was driving his bike on a fly over and a bus dashed him frombehind. He flew from his bike and he collided on the railing. Hetoppled over and fell.... on the other side... 8 ft down on the busyroad below. It was amazing to hear the story from Anil himself as wewere sitting in the Fruit Shop at Greams road. At this point we weretoo excited to know what happened next since it was obvious that amiracle had saved him.
Here is what happened. As he took off from the bridge and was fastdescending down towards mother earth a fast moving open truck carrying"HAY" was passing by. He fell exactly inside it.. His fall wascushioned!! JaiGurudev!

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away,"
Think about this. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.
1. At least 2 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.
2.. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
3 A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.
4. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
5. You mean the world to someone.
6. If not for you, someone may not be living.
7. You are special and unique.
8.. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you trust God to do what's best, and wait on His time, sooner or later, you will get it or something better.
9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good can still come from it.
10. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look: you most likely turned your back on the world.
11. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.
12. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.
13 . Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know and you'll both be happy
14. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.
Send this letter to all the people you care about, if you do so, you will certainly brighten someone's day and might change their perspective on life...for the better.
To everyone I send this to
Thanks for your time!

A must read : Guru's graceMy dear friends Rajita and Ajay Bagga were among the fortunatesurvivors from the Taj, after spending the entire night there. Shesent her inspiring, cathartic experience to us today, and hasgraciously allowed me to share this intensely personal message withyou all. Raju, we are so glad that you and Ajay are safe, and join youin thanking Guruji. Truly, there is a huge task ahead, and will needall our combined strength to accomplish."Dearest OnesJai GurudevThere are no words to describe what we are going through after ourmiraculous escape after 12 hours in captivity at the Taj.There is still a sense of daze & shock, there is fear ( after thecontinous sounds last 60 hours of grenades and gun firing) even thesound of a spoon falling is alarming, anger & rage at the totalbreakdown of security and the system , but above all, there is a hugehuge huge huge sense of gratitude.Gratitude to Guruji for giving us another life. As more is beingrevealed, 4 terrorists were in the kitchen of the chambers , justabout 10 feet from the room we were in.They killed the chefs there. There was nothing stopping them from just turning left and come ourway. It was almost like some indescribable force was between them andus. Knowledge of living in the present moment and present moment isinevitable was never never before a living reality for us. When theyevacuated us after 12 hours, there was blood ,broken glass pieces, grenade remnants all strewn across the corridor outside our room. That's how close they came. When we did come out and escaped another round of fresh firing at usas we were walking outside the Taj, the 1st call just that moment wegot was from Guruji confirming that we were out and safe. It wasalmost as though He had escorted us out ! I was so shaken , I couldbarely stand let alone speak and He said to me, "When I am with you,how can anything touch you.come on be brave . Kya darti hai, main hunna "Throughout the night, Bhanudidi kept calling and smsing us , giving uscourage and encouragement. Giving us the confidence that we would beout surely. It seemed surreal then, but she kept telling me to be boldand support others. It was like being scooped in a blanket of graceand love. In every Part 2 course, I have learnt to sleep with ablanket of grace. Believe me, I can tell you with certainity that itwas ON us that nightThrough the night all of you kept calling us ,smsing us and telling ushow much you are praying for us . Our parents, brothers, sisters, sisters in law, little nephews and nieces from UK.......yourvoices gave us life & kept us going. We were giving healing to the bullet hit, teaching deep breathing tosome young boys with us to calm them down, teachimg mudras to controlbladders to the old, all the while literally hanging on to each other, holding hands tight and continuously chanting jai gurudev. My tonguecontinues to move in that chant in a almost pavlovian way even nowEven after we came out, all of you kept calling and supporting us.Hearing the concern and love in your voice was deeply humbling andmoving for us. Anna kept refocusing my attention by talking aboutdesigning the Mandir for our new home to asking what I cooked ! Eachone of you has kept reassuring us . This love is our only truetreasureI have no idea what we have done to deserve all this outpour of yourlove, concern, good wishes. We are just so grateful to you. It is thestrength of your sadhana and sankalpa that rescued 100 of us thatfateful thursday morning. As you know only about 8 people have comeout alive from the taj after thatMany many people we know, top lawyers, bankers ,leading business headshave not been as lucky as us. They were victims of indiscriminatefiring. Dalus son Shaan and daughter Shivanis 4 friends have lostseither both or one set of parents.3 of our friends were stuck inTrident and rescued only yesterday morning after 36 hours and are indeep traumaWriting this is a cathartic experience for me.Going through this, a jolting wake up call to appreciate the value ofevery living moment of life, the indispensiblity of spreadingknowledge URGENTLY, and above all deeply appreciating the love thatsurrounds usWe remain in Gratitude to you all FOREVER . Lifetimes will not sufficeus to repay this loveApart from our anniversary, Ajay and I now share a birthday too.Nov 27thLove from the deepest depths of our heart

DENYING ALLEGATIONS
‘Art of Living is being maligned’
TIMES NEWS NETWORK
New Delhi: Reacting to the allegation that an Art of Living camp in Panchmarhi bred Hindu terror, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Saturday denied reports of the organization being involved in the activities of Lt Col Shrikant Purohit who was arrested for his role in the Malegaon blast. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said, ‘‘It’s impossible to say that Art of Living has any links with Lt Col Purohit’s activities.’’
The alleged links find their roots in the fact that Lt Col Purohit had reportedly organized a youth training session in October in Panchmarhi, MP, during which more than 40 youths attended the sessions of one of the trainers from Art of Living.
Addressing the mediapersons, Jigish, who was invited to conduct the course in Panchmarhi, said, ‘‘I was told by the organizers the three-day camp is supposed to invoke patriotism in the youths, and that I would impart them the lessons of Sudarshan Kriya.’’ Making it clear that Art of Living had nothing more to do than teaching the basics of Sudarshan Kriya, Jigish added, ‘‘My interaction with the youths was limited to the lessons and I was escorted out of the campus after the course every day.’’
Stressing that linking Art of Living with terrorist activities was absurd and baseless, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said, ‘‘We have more than 6,000 training centres around the globe. All of them work towards creating a stress and violence free world. If anyone, who has been a part of our sessions, gets involved in a wrongful act, it doesn’t mean we endorse or support his idea.’’ He further added, ‘‘If required, we will certainly cooperate with the agencies in their investigations.’’
With politics in the air, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar also hinted that relating Art of Living with unlawful activities could be a part of the political agenda of some parties. He said, ‘‘I feel this entire episode to malign Art of Living could be a political move. However, we are not going to allow any organization to derive any mileage out of this.’’

One night I had a dream
One Night I had A Dream
In my dream I was walking along the beach with Lord. Across the sky flash scene from my life , in each scene I noticed two sets of foot-prints in sand , one belonging to me and other the Lord.
When the Last scene of my life flash before me , I looked back at foot-prints , I noticed that many times along the path of my life there was only one set of foot-prints. I also noticed that it happened at that very lowest and saddest times of my life , I questioned Lord about it.
“ Lord you said that once you decided to follow me , you’d walk with me all the way. But , I noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of foot-prints . I don’t understand why , when I needed you most , you would leave me “?
Replied the Lord !
“ My son , my precious child I love you and would never leave you during yours time of suffering and trial and you see only one set of foot-prints . I was carrying you”.

If I had to promise you something, what would it be?
I can't promise that you would always be comfortable...
Because comfort brings boredom and discomfort.
I can't promise that all your desires will be fulfilled...
Because desires whether fulfilled or unfulfilled bring frustration.
I can't promise that there will always be good times...
Because it is the tough times that make us appreciate joy.
I can't promise that we will be rich or famous or powerful...
Because they can all be pathways to misery.
I can't promise that we will always be together...
Because it is separation that makes togetherness so wonderful.
Yet if you are willing to walk with me,
If you are willing to value love over everything else ~
I promise that this will be the most rich and fulfilling life possible.
I promise your life will be an eternal celebration,
I promise you I will cherish you more than a king cherishes his crown,
And I shall love you more than a mother loves her newborn.
If you are willing to walk into my arms,If you are willing to live in my heart,
You will find the one you have waited forever....You will meet yourself in my arms...
I promise.

How And When
The Existence Will Start Using You For Its Purpose
You Never know

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a bag of potato chips and a six-pack of orange juice and started his journey.
When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a Sip of orange juice when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her some chips. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him.
Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her the orange juice. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.
As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.
When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, " I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"
Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?" She replied! "I ate potato chips in the park with God." However, before her son responded, she added, " You know, he's much younger than I expected.".
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of Which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime! Embrace all equally!

A Story
Once a boy went to a shop with his mother. The shop keeper looked at the small cute child and showed him a bottle with sweets and said 'Dear Child you can take the sweets but the child didn't take. The shop keeper was surprised such a small child he is and why is he nottaking the sweets from the bottle. Again he said take the sweets nowhis mother also heard that and said ''beta take the sweets, yet hedidnt take. The shopkeeper saw that the child was not taking the sweets, So he himself took the sweets and gave to the child. The child was happy to get two hands full of sweets.. When they returned home, his Mother asked him. Why didnt you take the sweets when shop keeper told you to take ?
The child said ''Mom, my hands are very small and if i take the sweets from my hands then I can only take few but now you see when uncle gave with his big hands, how many more sweets I got."
Moral When we take, we may get little but when God gives, He gives us more than our expectations more than what we can hold.
and HE is, HE is, HE is... mela pyala guluji
